In 1989 my uncle took the decision to uproot from Accrington to the somewhat sunnier climes of San Diego.
Over the years I have visited on several occasions, however for the purpose of this extremity, the reason is my cousin Gareth, my trip being for his wedding.
The extremity I am recording is a point in the car park outside my cousin's flat. I can place this marker with great accuracy, as the location provides a great vantage point for large parts of Tijuana, and I remember remarking at the time that I'd never been so far south before.
